The rooms display a selection of about 2,400 specimens from the museum’s collection, mostly mammals and birds, providing a coherent presentation of the zoogeographic regions of the world.

Precious examples of species now rare, and valuable taxidermic displays from the early 20th century, make it one of the finest public collections in Piedmont.

The tour passes through 11 exhibition halls, where dioramas and exhibits illustrate international biodiversity.
